- MOTDesk charges 1.5% on online payments only (bookings, invoices and repair links). Stripe also charges its own card processing fee — typically ~1.5% + 20p per UK card payment, set by Stripe on your Connect account. MOTDesk does not add a markup on Stripe fees.
- MOTDesk Pro includes email reminders. SMS texts are 9p each on your monthly Stripe invoice — there is no free SMS allowance. SMS billing can be turned off in your Billing centre if you prefer email-only reminders. We recommend keeping SMS reminders on.
